Aaron became part of Iktomi Tattoo due to what we initially believed was a clerical error. One morning we received a fax from an unknown number stating simply, “Aaron will be arriving Thursday, please have a chair ready.” We do not own a fax machine. Sure enough, Thursday morning Aaron walked through the door carrying a tattoo machine, two bananas and a small jar of dirt he claimed was from Nebraska. Nobody knew who sent him, but he seemed friendly and made great tattoos so we figured there was probably a reason. Aaron has been here ever since and every Thursday at exactly 2:17pm the shop phone rings once and immediately hangs up. Aaron insists the two things are unrelated, but he also still has the jar of dirt, so we’re keeping an eye on the situation.
