Michaela came to Iktomi Tattoo after winning a radio contest that none of us remember entering. The prize apparently included a tattoo station, unlimited access to the break room and temporary custody of a small brass key that does not open any known door in the building. We tried calling the radio station for clarification but were informed that it had gone off the air in 1976, which Michaela seemed strangely unsurprised by. Fortunately she turned out to be an incredibly talented tattoo artist and a wonderful addition to the shop, so we decided to honor the contest results. Michaela still carries the brass key with her every day and insists that when the correct door appears she’ll know what to do. We’re hoping that happens during business hours.
