Sinté was first encountered walking south along a county road sometime around 3:00 in the morning carrying a tattoo machine, a half-eaten bag of sunflower seeds and a large stick he insisted was “important.” When asked where he was going he simply said “Iktomi,” which was strange because nobody had told him where the shop was, yet he arrived twenty minutes later. We have since learned not to question Sinté’s methods, he makes incredible tattoos, occasionally knows things before they happen and once correctly predicted that the shop microwave was going to stop working three days before it did. When we asked him how he knew he looked at the microwave and said, “It was tired.” Sinté is currently accepting appointments and the stick remains important.
