Shannon was discovered one spring morning sitting perfectly still on the shore of Lake Minnetonka holding a tattoo machine in one hand and a live walleye in the other. When asked how long she had been there she replied “long enough” and handed us the fish, which unfortunately left us with more questions than answers. Shannon eventually followed us back to Iktomi Tattoo where she immediately began making incredible tattoos and acting as though she had worked here for years, so eventually everyone else just went along with it. She is an incredibly talented artist, a wonderful human being and has never once explained the walleye, although every spring she disappears for exactly one afternoon and returns smelling faintly of lake water with a pocket full of smooth stones. We believe this is probably fine.
