Jo came to Iktomi Tattoo after being discovered deep in the north woods where she had apparently been living peacefully among a family of unusually large raccoons for several years. She spoke perfect English, made incredible tattoos and seemed generally confused as to why anyone thought her living situation was unusual, so we offered her a station and decided not to press the issue. Since joining the shop Jo has proven herself to be an incredibly talented artist, a genuinely wonderful human being and quite possibly the nicest person ever produced by the Minnesota wilderness, although she still disappears into the forest from time to time and returns with no explanation, several interesting rocks and information she could only have received from the raccoons. We trust Jo completely, it’s the raccoons we’re still unsure about.
